Their Story

Gopi and Paven were high school sweethearts who met when we were 16. They started talking on Facebook thanks to their common interest in Hockey, which led to her going to watch one of Gopi’s games and a classic movie date. From the beginning, Paven had a gut feeling that this was it.

“I guess my gut was right because almost 10 years later, after graduating high school, going to university together and having full-fledged careers, here we are getting married this summer.  We grew from being dorky teenage kids into somewhat mature adults lol, and I wouldn’t have it any other way! We got married 3 weeks before our 10th anniversary – so our mini-moon celebrated our marriage, our relationship, and a small honeymoon all in one,” added Paven.

Honestly, this classic love story has already warmed our hearts, but their wedding photoshoot just blew our minds with the absolutely jaw-dropping shots.

The Pre Wedding Photoshoot

Paven wore a gorgeous sharara with eccentric patterns and prints true to her persona and paired it with beautiful stone accessories for this absolutely mind-blowing pre-wedding photoshoot. Gopi contrasted her fabulous outfit with a beautifully simplistic grey kurta pyjama. The focus of this shoot of course shifts to the backdrop. In these photos, the couple’s beauty is elevated by the mountains’ blissful and peaceful yet dramatic natural backdrop.

The Mehndi Ceremony Look

The tropical plant, the muted and earthy tones of her gorgeous printed lehenga, the subtle warm makeup and the lovely mandala mehndi give these photos a warm and soft touch. However, the main attraction point of this photoshoot is just the beauty of Paven. Her statuesque, sculpted features, intense eyes, beautiful hair and majestic presence, we can’t take our eyes off the beauty she possesses.

We’ve seen brides deviate from the classic red norms, we’ve seen brides wear all sorts of bright and pastel colours, but seldom have we ever seen a bride slay a yellow outfit on her wedding day. Paven dawned a marvellous yellow lehenga with intricate stonework and Gopi wore a beautiful white and gold anarkali sherwani and white jacket with intricate floral embroidery. The couple truly gave us chills with the Mughal-E-Azam vibes, don’t blame us for fangirling!

The Reception Photoshoot

Oh boy, where do we even begin with this one! Reception Photoshoot or a Vogue Photoshoot? We can’t decide, can you? Looking like models straight from a fashion magazine’s front page, Paven gave us a blue and gold suit with unique net details in the neckline and sleeves, finishing it off with a long net train, and Gopi gave us a dapper white suit which brings out his beautifully shaped beard and dark eyes.
