We’ve all seen cross-cultural weddings in movies like 2 states. Now here is a real life version! The cultures of Tamil Nadu and Bihar blended together in the colorful wedding ceremony of Abhinaya and Ayush.
What was a close friendship in high school eventually evolved into a beautiful relationship in the college years of these love birds. Their relationship thrived for 8 years through extremely busy schedules, cultural differences of their families, and even long-distance for about 3 years!
According to Abhinaya, the couple stayed strong together no matter what difficulty life threw at them because they respected each other’s individuality, yet complemented each other. Moreover, their relationship doesn’t solely stand on love but also on the grounds of mutual respect, commitment, compatibility, and loyalty. The Engagement
The gorgeous couple started their celebrations with a cheery outdoor engagement ceremony. The sunny blue sky and green surroundings bring out the beauty of the white décor accented with pastel flowers. Abhinaya shined the brightest in her glamorous pink lehenga by Abhinav Mishra and Ayush matched her outfit in a beautiful pink kurta, and we’ve fallen for couple glimmering in the shade of love.
The North Indian Wedding Ceremony
The couple first tied the knot in accordance with the Bihari traditions. Like their engagement, the North Indian wedding ceremony too was decorated in elements of white. However, unlike the sunny breezy vibes of the previous one, the wedding wore the dark and glamorous shawl of the night. Ayush rocked a cream sherwani with gold details and Abhinaya donned an absolutely gorgeous classic red Sabyasachi lehenga and stole the show with her elegance and grace.
The South Indian Wedding Ceremony
Following the cross-cultural wedding theme, Ayush ad Abhinaya tied the knot again, this time following the Tamil rituals. The Tamil culture popped through in this ceremony with a Ganesha mural, Abhinaya’s saffron saree, and Ayush’s classic dhoti outfit. The happiness of the couple and the warm smiles of their family members truly lit up the celebration and filled it with a soft glow of joy and merriment of love.
